Great job finishing two wall hangings ube! All the orange in the second one really speaks to me too. Very nice job on both of the quilts and on finishing early. My wall hanging is still in its infancy and has a ways to go.

Happy New Year everyone. Here is another mini from Marion's little pieces! Don't know how many place settings I'll get and will sew until the end of the fabric is reached. Setting the blocks hasn't been decided yet. This is one of many options for a log Cabin.

I go back to work Monday the 11th, so I am trying to get as much machine time in as I can!

Pretty! I am working on my Cathedral Stars blocks but they are difficult to do. I think I finally hit on a technique that works so I will take a picture as soon as I get them completed.

Hi buddies! Want to show off my last at home project before I go back to work. A quilted tote, lunch bag, wallet, key holder and tissue keeper. My furlough time has been spent well and I am just a little sad to be going back but it does pay for my fabric habit.

All of you are making such beautiful wall hangings, and totes with all the accessories. I love that tree with the tea cups. I would love to see some more of your decorations with all the colors as I see some red chairs and matching things that is so pretty.

I am working away still on the top of the wall hanging. Soon I hope to finish the piecing and start the applique part.

OK here is a sneak peek. I am REALLY glad I am not doing a full quilt with these blocks - they are proving to be difficult and time consuming! Each block takes about an hour! However, they are certainly striking and good for small projects.

Ube, I love your tote and all its accessories. At lease you have a new tote you can take with you to work Also, cannot wait to see what you will do with all the remaining scraps from Marion. So far it look very nice. All the best to you as you rejoin the workforce.

JNTC14, I love your color combination. looking forward to seeing it as it progresses.

JNCT, Wonderful block. Now what is the name of it and how is it assembled and where do I find the pattern? I love it!

Its called a Cathedral Star. Its a variation of the 10 minute block technique. I will try to explain later but its complicated. You might want tovtry to find the book.. Machine Pieced Cathedral Stars by Shelley Swanland.
