Everything looks so good! After reading about some of us not having space to hang, I decided on a narrower WH this time.and since I always have trouble with points I am trying this little one. Just hoping it comes out the way I envision it.
Hope you easterners are all okay......Ube, Janice and who ever else was in the path of that storm. Ohio got spared this time!

No space to hang? I have plenty! This looks promising. Can't wait to see it finnished.

Hey Skaduzy we weathered the storm ok - got about a foot and blizzard conditions on Saturday, but Sunday was nice and sunny to clear off the snow and today will be 45 - this winter is GREAT compared to the last few years!!!

Here is the finished WH - washed, pressed and ready to ship. Its 24" by 24".

So anyone thinks this one belongs at their house?

I really like the way the colors came together.

The recipient could add something like their last name or a date on the area right under the house if they so desire.

Can't wait to see the other wall hangings. Please post pictures swappers.
    Anna that is too cute.

Beautiful, the colors coordinate so well. I could definitely see this on my wall or as a center of a quilt!

Annaquilts, The little house is so charming and I think it would be right at home with me in my home sweet home!

Skaduzy, charming scrappy stars with polka dot background! If I may suggest, if you really have a problem with HSTs, consider investing in the Bloc- Loc Ruler. I always struggled with them too until I got this ruler and now they are perfect every time. This ruler is great if you are doing scrappy HSTs and every one is different. For Multiples of the same HSTs, I like to use Sharon Shambers method but I rarely do them. I'm a scrappy kind a girl.

JNCT, So are you going to make a queen size one now? Love the fabrics you used on this.

    peace

the trick to keeping your points is simple. You need to have a square square not a lopsided one on any one corner. even a smidge off will make your points disappear. then you need to have the corners where your two fabrics meet be evenly matched. both sides of that point have to be clean and not one side larger than the other. If your square comes out with one side having a bit more than the other side trim it gently before you use that HST. It really doesn't matter what method you use if you don't take time to make sure your square is evenly cut.

The top corner is what you don't want.
The bottom corner is the correct way. if you need to trim it do so before you use it. it will save you alot of hair pulling later LOL
