Hope no one objects.

    Enjoy!

I would like to do this swap, so much fun, but I need to see how it comes together with the Holidays in there.

Ube I like that you post pics in between the actual swap stuff. It keeps the conversation alive and is enjoyable to all. We are all more than just the swap so share as much and as often as you like!

I was just thinking we have several ladies who keep the thread alive throughout the 4 months. I really appreciate that!

Anna a lot of people will wait til after the holidays to start on their wh. That is why it is a good thing to have it for 4 months so you can work around other obligations. You'll still have January and February to work with.

Rhonda I really like the extended time frame. Less pressure and no rushed job making the wall hanging. Thanks!

I have my next one planned and ready to go so I can work on it between all the seasonal hustle. A little here, a little there and before you know it there is a lot of work done. I failed at my own plan the last time and had to rush to get something done. I am pleased with how it turned out but it wasn't as much fun. This time I am ready to play and pace myself.

So there I am, at my local library's book sale, sitting on the floor, eating samples of cheesecake and rummaging through a box of quilt books. I found one on Machine Stitched Cathedral Stars by Shelly Swanland. Someone will definitely get one of those for the April/July swap!

    Ube, love the quilt.

JNCT14 sounds like you found some really good books.

So finished and in process projects - the Chinese Lanterns is a housewarming gift - I have the topper in blue/green ready to be batted and quilted for the next swap, the bookcase is for a friend of mine who asked if I could make it (I get fabric in return, yippee!) and the Cathedral Stars book which may pre-empt the Chinese Lanterns if I can figure out the method.....
