The mail just came and I got a lovely package! Nan62 was my partner and sent me these: A beautiful wool pin cushion and needlecase. She also sent a vintage FQ and a cookie cutter of her home state, Texas. The needlecase has some interesting pins and needles in it, but the most beautiful thing it held was a crystal stiletto! I will love using that and feel very pampered by it all, Lois. Thanks so much!!

Nan62 -- that's an unusual pc/nc you sent sewbizgirl -- very unique! I love wool felt & that looks very handy, too. Is that your own creation? I've never seen one like that before! Great job on that swap!

Karen -- I'm sorry you are stepping down. I do know how much time hosting a swap takes (ask me how I know). And I know that this must be a difficult choice for you. How many years have you been doing this swap? I do hope it continues, & you will have more fun being a participant anyway! Life does tend to get complicated from time to time!

Ctyankee, pin interest was my inspiration for that. I got some wool scraps from the Houston quilt show my favorite thing in that swap was the antique fabric given to me by some friends. Mrs Walton had no children so they gave me her stash. This was my favorite from the 40s in great condition. I wanted to share it this month so LDugas got a FQ too. Thank you

Oh my gosh, I received the most wonderful swap package today from LJDugas31!!! Remember everyone posting pictures of all of the lovely pincushions she has made for several of the swaps? Well my friends, the one she sent me is just gorgeous! I will post pictures of it tomorrow, it's already dark here and I want to make sure these pictures will show all of the detail. Thank you so much Linda, it's just incredible!!!!!!

Oh Jan I want to see it !!! I do have one of hers and I know what you mean about needing lots of light. Anyone using beads and such shiny things need to be shown off well.

The pincushion and needle case are gorgeous as is the embellished notebook! She also included chocolate, yum!
