November Pincushion/Needlecase Swap - Maker's Choice - Anything Goes
#51
Hmmm yes I like the walnut shells a lot. Wool is also great or a combination with the walnut shells in the bottom. So I learned about shelf liner and using hair ties in quilting from jaba. Smart! I am a happy quilter here and enjoying my goodies. I was a bit scared of making the needle case but I think it came out really well. It was nice to have the one jaba gave me in my hands to actually feel and see one. I took two ideas from that, batting instead of card board in the "book" cover and how to make a loop to put over the button. Well I do not want to give away too much.

Mailed my PC/NC out to my partner today and dummy me forgot to take pictures and put the card in the package, grrrrr. Hopefully my partner will recognize my name and figure it out. I know she is able to take pictures so that won't be an issue. Guess it's just one of those days!

That is so sweet! I like shabby chic. Several years ago my DD wanted a shabby chic quilt for her graduation to take to college. I got really interested in that style then. Thanks for posting this little eye candy. Ljdugas31 you sure did a great job!
