Happy Thanksgiving everyone... Have a great day and just want you all to know how thankful I am for all of you here, whether we have talked or not, you are part of my day... My prayers each day are that you will have only as many trials as you can handle and an abundance of peace and love ... God Bless you all..

What a cute pincushion. Burlap is a popular fabric this year. Karen I will be home Saturday. I'm going to the garage at 8 am on Friday and hopefully I won't be there too long. If I don't answer my home phone you can try my cell.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on this board. So thankful for all you friends.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends.

Burlap is sooo popular this year. Have you seen the prohibitive prices??
JA's has it printed for fall and Christmas. I'd rather buy plain and stencil it myself.
But...it's so pretty and add a nice homespun flair to everything it touches.
It made the scarecrow so cute and can even be a table decoration for today.

Lynnie did you get any snow. I got a dusting but in NH there were 200,000 without power. Not sure how much snow they got. They even opened up a shelter. They also have the mesh with ribbons that they are using on wreaths.
This is what I saw in the woods today on the ride. I had to look twice and then I went back and got the pic

so funny, Pat. we got some stuff falling earlier today, but nothing hitting or sticking. At the parade in NYC, it was snowing a bit. Luckily, we had electricity this year. Last Thanksgiving, our electric coming into the condo, blew out. All 886 houses lost theirs. We have an electric stove, but we got out turkey done.
Brined ours this year. 12 lbs. my son came over. no leftovers. we ate everything. now i'm too full to do anything.

The scarecrow is so cute. Lynnie was the turkey better brined? Happy belated Thanksgiving. We had quite a bad storm here. We didn't lose electric this time. It is very cold and going to be colder tomorrow. DD and DH have been rigging up the dragger, scalloping starts Dec 1. They are about frozen working on the boat. I hate to say it but I think it is going to be a long winter. I have allready had my fill.

At first there were 200,000 without electricity in NH. Now it's down to 76,000. Dwina you are lucky that you didn't lose power. I got about an inch of snow yesterday and I finally got my car fixed. I'm sick of winter and it didn't even start yet. This morning I may do some shopping and this afternoon Karen is coming over.
    Everyone have a great day
