Hi Everyone, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you !
I mailed my " Squishy" today and it's not traveling too far.

Just wanted to let whoever has me that I won't be able to acknowledge it until after Dec 7th. I will be away for a few weeks. I am moving some stuff to a new home in Calabash, NC. I also won't have access to a computer on a regular basis.

I did not receive mine yet. The one I sent has processed through Indianpolis, IN , the same zip code and processing place every day for the last 3 days. I sent it Mon. The mail person thought it would arrive Wed. or Thurs. It was sent express mail. Who knows why it has been processed at the same spot 3 days in a row. :?:

It's looking like we will NOT be having a swap in December. This is due to a lot of problems with not knowing if packages are received and time constraints.

We will pick things back up in January which will give everyone time to get their Christmas things done, small items bought or made for next years swap and to just breathe.

Please feel free to do mini swaps privately between each other.

If something changes this weekend, we may do a quick turnaround swap for December.

Thanks for the thought Patti, there is just my Mother and I so we usually eat out for Thanksgiving -- no cleanup involved.

My quilt guild decided our 2011 schedule yesterday. We have several tablerunner/toppers planned so it will come in handy, I will make one for next Fall.

I plan to use the teapot pin cushion with my treadle machine (which I plan to use for most of my piecing once I move to my homestead in May -- no electric for a few months, but cannot survive without doing a few projects).

Your package of most appreciated and will be enjoyed.

I received my squishy from stitchincat and I love everything! She sent three fq's, a bookmark, cute bee notepad, a great cross stitched "Friends" needleholder and also a pincushion (I adore handmades) and a sweet red and white crocheted stocking with Christmas pencils and a Hershey bar, yummy. I'll have to download the picture later, thank you so much Cathy!
