This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner every month. The person you send to is different then the person you receive from.

You do need to send me a PM every month, as I cannot keep track very well of people signing up for more then 1 month. Please don't post a message on the thread about signing up, as I may not see it.

I would prefer that you resend your info, as I make minor changes to the forum each month, but it is not necessary.

If you would like to do it, please send me a pm with this information. If you are international, feel free to join!

if you are interested in joining, please send me a Private message with the following information.

    Screen Name:
    Real Name:
    Address:
    Favorite Colors:
    Favorite Candy:
    Your favorite notion/fabric line, etc:
    Your least favorite color(s)
    Least favorite candy
    Least favorite notion/fabric line
    Brand of sewing machine:
Is there anything you like to collect?
Besides quilting, what do you like to do?
    Allergies:
    Additional Information:
    Email Address:
    Can you mail international?
    Favorite thing:
    Least favorite thing:

This form will be given to your secret pal. The more you put on there, the better she/he will be able to get things you'd like. Additional information may be helpful to them as well.

There is a STRICT 10 dollar budget for this swap. The 10 dollars can, or cannot include things from your stash. Postage isn't included in the ten dollars. The most important thing to remember with the budget is to have fun, but please don't spend more than 10.

If you want ideas on what to send, look at the previous swaps. Things that are always fun to get is fabric, notions, notepads, pens, little thing like that.

Sign ups will close the 5th, and names will be paired on the 5th and sent out by the 7th.
Packages need to be sent out by the 25th if you are in the United states and are sending to someone in the US. Delivery confirmation is a MUST. If you live international, or are sending to International, please send by the 20th. Send it as early as you'd like!

I really want to stress that if you sign up, please, PLEASE follow thru. It's a horrible feeling to not receive a package. I will be keeping a list of people that don't follow thru and they will not be allowed to participate in any of the secret swaps that I will be hosting. Sorry to be hard nosed but it's not right and it's been happening a lot here lately.

Please read the rules because they have been changed. I will be out of pocket for a couple days but will check PM's and the boards at night.

    Thanks Everyone!

I am joining again. It has been such a fun swap and I have met wonderful people so will try to stick to the rules and play nice. I do want to say for the record, I love my itty bitty packages as much as the big ones. Just the thought is so touching to me. It's the person who sends the package and their heart that matters. Send me a seed and I will plant it. Hope to see everyone there. It's like christmas every month. Thanks to all who hold this for us and for the members who are making it so great. HUGS

After all the recent thing that have gone down, I have decided to not host anymore of these swaps after November. Some people can't get used to rules or that someone else may know something they don't.

I've tried my level best to be fair with everyone, even to the point that NO ONE received my name for October.

I will do November but after that it will be up to someone else. Please contact Patrice if you would like to take it over.

NOooooooo. we don't want you to stop. YOu have to know that in every family, or in every class, or group there is someone who will not be happy no matter what the rules are. And some of us don't break them intentionally. I do think you should not allow those who join and send nothing but receive. Shame on them, not you. YOu can only control what is within your powers.
I for one do not want those negaholics to ruin the swap for us. If this continues I am sure Admin and such will stop them.
For the 95.% of us that do what we promise, please reconsider. I hope my post did not make you think this. I am sorry.
It is not easy to take control of a swap and deal with people. I have had run-ins with people on a sale. Not fun.
I hope those of us who make this a fun swap, you too Suzanne, will continue to do so and let those fuddy duddies fade away. I don't like negative feedback as it is embarassing to me and we don't alwaysknow circumstances.
So Please......please.......reconsider. I will enev be glad to volunteer as a step up for someone who is missed. And since you did not include your name in October, you will be getting a package in November. ROFL.... Now someone pm me her address......quick. LOL

How can you resist this face....PLEASE...........

I agree with Deb! You did an outstanding job. Sadly there will always be a few "Negative Nellies" to deal with. The swap is so fun...I hope you will reconsider.

    Much Love

Suzanne, it saddens us all that you won't be hosting the swap. You have done such a wonderful job. I do hope that you reconsider. I have truely enjoyed the swaps. I don't know what the problem is with some people...no matter what..they are always beefing about something.
    peace and blessings dear friend
