What cute quilts in the past couple of days. I got a PM from Kathy N that she got my quilt I made her, so she'll probably post today or tomorrow. What fun these swaps are....can't wait for Nov/Dec. Exciting!! Sweet!! Blessings!! Janice

Well, I can't get the picture of my Oct Doll Quilt I sent to my partner off my camera. So the October quilt was similar to the one below(made as an angel quilt for March), except the outer rings are the inner rings, basically the rings are reversed.

Also, there was dark brown piping for the edging and a dark brown underside.

If I get the picture off the camera, I will repost. But at least you get the idea of what I made for October 2010.

It looks very nice. Cameras and computers can be challenging at times!

Just looked at the flicker slideshow for this month, I ended up watching it twice, it was so good. The variety of ideas, and techniques is amazing, you guys are so talented and very creative. I love this swap, I get so many ideas, and it really is teaching me to try new techniques. Thank you ladies for all the inspiration, and fun.

I wish each and everyone of you a very special holiday season, and plenty of time to spend with your loved ones. Take care, Lucinda

Wow - great DQ's -- getting more challenging each month to come up with something new.

Do try to take pictures. You know we love seeing these lovely creations. It's kind of the best part of the swap! If you don't have a digital camera, put it on your Santa list. I will totally vouch for each and every one of you if Santa asks if you were good or bad! ;)

The cameras have really come down in price. They are easy to use and a great way to document your quilts and take funny pictures of your relatives and pets! You don't need anything fancy. Basic is better. If you want some suggestions, I'd be glad to help.

Glad you liked it. You may have to have a Monday, Wednesday, Friday display and another for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Then on Sunday, it would be family choice day ;) ;) ;)

I will be looking for yours. I just love getting something besides bills.

Doesn't have to be "new", change colors, add an accent, just have fun :!: :!: :!:

Ah, but finding "new" and doing "new" is most of the fun! All the new things I've been able to try without committing myself to large quilt...some I've enjoyed, some I never want to do again but glad I found out what they were about.
