Default Thank you so much m-fay!

Received my runner today - all the way from Marion (m-fay) in Australia! It is beautiful & the pics just don't do it justice! And the birds on the back, oh my! I love the letter that she sent to me, we are such kindred spirits! Fat quarters, a key chain (with a dolphin) and information about the Ningaloo Coast - World Heritage Area. I am so lacking in knowledge about Australia, and I appreciate the beautiful pics & info. No mention of the awful forest fires in her country though, and I hope she continues to be safe! Thank you Marion! Hoping I've figured out how to add in the pics!

Wow Sue It only took 13 days to reach you.How good is that? I hope you like Cats! R-sea and I both live on the West side of Australia, a long way from the fires but luckily they are getting a bit of rain now. Not enough to put them out, but a great help to the fire fighters. the impact on the whole of Australia is going to be felt for a long time. to come.

First I want to thank Luanne (Ube) for the beautiful runner she made. She took the time to send my favorite colors too.I was waiting today for some sunshine to take the pictures. But no sun. Overcast all day. The colors are bright and so pretty. This pattern is so cute too. She also made a heart shaped zip bag. Not sure if she made the yardstick key fob or not. It is a handy idea to measure items at the yard sales or prints on the fabrics I buy to make doll clothes. I will sure use it and the bag. The runner is on the table already. Thank you Ube.

Beautiful runner, I love those colors too!
I received my runner from lawsonmugs and it is just perfect! Great colors for our Florida house and it looks awesome on the table. Mary also made this cute little bag, love the shape of it, with some bobbin cleaners that she made. Love the idea of how you did these, I'm sure I will be making some. Thank you again so much, I love the runner

    Hi Guys,

Here is a picture of the beautiful runner I received from Northern Sue today..... I love the Canada Geese. Her runner covered both part of our Flora and Fauna theme.

Sue I love the runner and al the bits... thank you so much.

I'm sorry I usually do take pictures. I had unexpected company and hurried to get the runner in the mail. I never took one this time.

Glad you like the runner, Mary. This is one more pattern I love, easy to make with a big impact.

The Canada Geese are cool too. If I'm not mistaking, it has the same unit in it that the one I made has. That triangle unit is so versatile.

PS: I did get flora and fauna incorporated in my runner. The front has small flowers and the back has butterflies! This was a fun theme.

    Okay guys,

I know this is a little off topic but I wanted to you all know something.

Somebody will have to reign me in a little.... but I am just so excited. DH has a son who lives in California and I have a daughter who lives in Texas.... this year we decided (lots of pushing from me) that we need to visit our lovely kids and grands. So we booked it. We will be in California and Texas in October. DH who is the most wonderful husband knows that I have always wanted to go to the International Quilt Festival in Houston.... so he has arranged our itinerary so that I can have 2.5 days at the show with three nights in Houston before we fly home....... I am so excited.

Watch out my lovelies... I am coming over - LOL LOL LOL.

    Hugs

    Caroline
