Mary -- I have that very same fabric, & I've been wondering what to do with it! Great swap from Carolyn. That shark's took is quite a treasure, isn't it? Love everything!

Lovely swap, Mary. Carolyn did a great job and I too love the Bra fabric needle case. I have some bra fabric but I didn't think to use it. My daughter is a professional bra fitter and I am always making lingerie bags for her with that fabric.

Mary what a nice swap you got from Carolyn and what cute fabric and lots of goodies. And I love your table topper. That is the pattern I am looking for. Does it have a name or did you just do it on your own?

My October Needle case / Pincushion swap is all finished and hopefully I will be able to mail it to my swap partner tomorrow. I am still babysitting my two little grandsons until next week. I have had them since 30th September. My daughter and SIL are on a trip to the US. Here are my grandsons, such great little boys, ages 2 1/2 and 6 months.

Betty what handsome boys. Pat the mat is just a hexagon for the center and then you sew on strips of fabric. start with every other side. then go back and do the 3 sides you skipped. Then add as many rounds as you want doing the same way. This one has about a 7" hexi center. The purple one has about a 6" center with all different scraps of purples around it.They are so much fun and easy to make. I use them all around the house. I have a hexi shaped table in my living room.Let me know if you need better directions.

Thanks Mary. I just think those are really nice and I'm going to make one for my friend in NH's birthday in Nov. I had a pattern for a smaller one but the LQS said you needed a special ruler that was $25. And now I can't even find the pattern. I think this one should be much easier.
Betty J your grandsons are so cute.
