I can show you how to cut a hexie from your material. Not sure I can find my book with the directions but I will look tomorrow. If I find it will let you know. Really easy you start with a square.

Mary -- your hexie mug mats are beautiful! I must make some. My daughter has a table that shaped .... hmmmm .... gives me ideas.

BettyJ -- the boys are adorable. I bet you're having so much fun. I would love grandchildren ... but my daughters are not cooperative .... & not married .... so I have to wait!

I did find one hexie ruler and I measured from the top to bottom and it is 4 3/4" and that is the biggest one it makes. If you can find your book I'd be interested in how to make bigger ones.

Pat since you have a hexi ruler just do like I did in this picture to enlarge it. This happens to be a 1" wide ruler so it makes this 2"'s bigger in dia. 7 1/2" (started with the 5 1/2" pink hexi )You can use an even wider ruler to make it bigger or just go around again on the new drawn pattern. I want to know how to make a hexi using the squares also. I think it would be something good to know. Hope you find the directions Sis. By the way are you all ready to move yet?

Hope this helps you as you can make any size hexie with this formula and also there is a long table runner you can make....

Sis I got the octagon figured but can't get the hexagon figured at the bottom. I'm gonna try tomorrow when I'm not so tired. Thanks. Hugs
