October Pincushion/Needlecase Swap - Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Susan I love that pink ribbon fabric. I haven't seen anything like it. So feminine looking. Reminds me of some of the handkerchiefs my mom used to carry back in the 50's. Lois, the hexi mat is a table topper. about 14" across. a little big for a mug rug. LOL. Of course you should see my coffee mug. I never thought of making a smaller version for a mug rug. Pat can't believe it snowed already there. It was 75* today and such a beautiful day. Gonna get warmer for the next couple days. Soon the other foot will drop here too. This months theme was perfect Karen. I really enjoyed it. What about Novembers theme?????

Nan62 -- that's a wonderful swap package from JuneBillie! Lovely pc & nc, & goodies, too!
It snowed here yesterday. We had heavy snowstorms in two different previous Octobers. Hoping this is not a sign.

Susan what a great swap package you made for Nan62. Your fabric is really nice. I don't think I've even seen any fabric like that anywhere. Lots of nice goodies too.
Today it's in the high 60's and tomorrow too and I looked ahead and the next day in the 40's is Nov 23.
Pamela last year NH had such a bad snowstorm in Oct and with the leaves still on the trees some people lost power for a week. I think it was right before Trick or Treat night.

Karen that is a really pretty blue with pink fabric pincushion and needle case you made for Jan R. My husband added that he likes that pen.
I looked through my stash, and when I found I had that pink fabric with bows, I knew it would work well.

Karen that blue fabric is beautiful. Where are you ladies getting such great fabrics? Pretty Pins too. I have a chubby pen (not pink ribbon) I love it. It's always easy to find and comfortable to write with. I keep it by my calendar and notepaper for grocery lists etc. Very nice swap.

I'm in awe, the power of prayer, the belief....whatever each of us call it, it is truly remarkable! The lights turned on again this afternoon shining bright. Monica has no memory of the last 4-5 days but she is in the present now. Had the MRI, it showed no damage to the spinal cord, there is a little cloudiness on one side of the brain but the doctor felt with continued medication it would clear up and be fine. No idea how she contacted it in the first place and we will probably never know but she is on the steady road to recovery as of tonight. I want to thank each one of you for your thoughts, prayers and support. I truly believe you made a difference in this outcome and I will be forever grateful!! Again thank you so much, it truly is appreciated.
