That pincushion is so cute, and love all of those buttons on it. That set it off just right.

I received a great package from Rosemary (AKA: Ladybug1938). She made me the cutest pumpkin flower pincushion. Those petals are so detailed. She even has bugs on the flower! Can you believe this? She made me pockets for under my sewing machine (I know there is a better name, but I cannot think of it right now)! I've wanted one of these beauties & have never taken time to make one. The pockets were filled with lovelies like hand cream, Skittles (missing from photo...), a candle, book, tic-tacs, hand cream, note cards. Oh my! I was spoiled & I just love everything. Thank you so much, Rosemary!
I liked the idea of re-posting the pics as I write, but should have done that for the first few. They all are something else. Just adorable each and every one.

My second package arrived! I did not open it yet... I am not intending to start any drama, but I have been working through a possible medical emergency with my daughter (she has spina bifida & uses a wheelchair) yesterday & today. She woke up yesterday with a severely swollen leg. By the time we got to doctor yesterday afternoon, it looked normal. We opted to do nothing & watch it. Now, she woke again with swollen leg, so I'm on phone all day making calls between our Pittsburgh doctors & local doctors to figure out which direction to go. Waiting now on hospital scheduling department to call back as to when we can do a doppler study on her leg to see if there is a clot. That is a worry. We'll also get an xray to see if there is a fracture. She has no sensation in her legs, so she cannot tell us what is going on. I want to open my package when I can truly enjoy it. That will be later tonight after we get some answers.
I have my packages ready to go - if I get to stop at a post office, they will leave home today! If not, definitely tomorrow.

Wow Tilted ears, so sorry to hear about your daughter. Let us know everything is o.k You're a special mom for sure.
On another note.....GOT MY PC!!!!!
first off I got some candy, and it's not here anymore, ,,,,coz....I ATE IT!!!!!!
ssuper yummy, got cute pencil for halloween. I write with pencils alot coz, gt this,
I know it's weird, but i like the sound the lead makes on the paper and i love how
sharp you can get the point. got some homemade pins in Halloween orange, and the cutes
bookmark with my initial "L" on it and some thinestones.
A friend just came over so i'll with some candy to go with the chocolate wine.

O.K. company left, just dropped by to taste the chocolate wine i got.
so.... I got a Halloween Pincushion. Really cute halloween fabrics.
I love Halloween fabrics, they are so festive. So this is about 5" x 5".
Out of a lime green fabric is a spool in the center with black spool on an orange
fabric. it's edged in a halloween fabric. backed with candy corn fabric.
I just love it and think it's cute, so darling.
A big thank you to ctyankee, Pamela, also got a nice get well card from her.
So sweet of you.
