I'm waiting on one pc. My swapees should be getting theirs tomorrow.

I've never been a werewolf but I'm definitely a vampire when candy corn is around.

My eldest has been sick for over two weeks, my middle has been sick for about four days and now my youngest came home from school today. Since he had a fever at school, he has to miss tomorrow. At least I'll get to cuddle with him after working third shift.

Toni Ann ~ I am so glad you liked everything. I sure had a great time sewing & putting the package together for you. Seriously... can you ever have too many seam rippers? I had a favorite get it's business end snapped off in the little box I kept it in. That was a very sad day.

I have a few questions so that I can be better prepared next month.....

I see you guys make them ahead....does it not matter who you are paired up with?

How do you sneak around and find out more about your partner *grin*?

I am apologizing to my swap recipients. I have not mailed your package yet.... I have the PC done, but have not been able to complete the package. I tried to sneak to the store on my way home from work the last 2 days, but had to be home to meet someone. Hubby works tomorrow (24 hour shift) so I'll be home with a 2 & 3 year old.... in the rain YUK!!! I may get brave and venture out and see what I can find....if so, I will mail Friday (ugh, a day late!) Otherwise, I will stop Friday after work, and mail it first thing Saturday. Please be gentle with me. I want to make it a good one for you ladies! This is a great group!

I'm really curious about making items ahead.... I thought we were supposed to use the questionnaire as a guide line...

    ok. done.

    Karyn

TiltedEars....thank you If I could create with my hands what my mind envisions, this would be a beautiful world!

Lynnie, thanks for the comments on my avatar. That is the mini quilt that I made for the mini swap and sent to Kiffie. She loved it!

Karyn, the mailing deadline isn't till Friday. If you are a day late, that is ok. In regards to finding out about someone, you can click on their name and read their profile if they have something there. Some people don't fill in a lot of info. The other way is just read what people write in their posts. You can learn a lot about someone that way. A lot of us try to make things ahead especially if there is a certain theme. This month was a little different because we had a choice between Halloween or Fall since not everyone celebrates Halloween. In November, I think anyone would like receiving something Thanksgiving or Fall. I won't put a choice in the questionnaire. We all seem to appreciate anything we receive because we know it was made with love and from the heart. We're just one big happy family!!

Karyn, everything is welcomed. As you get someone's name keep their sign-up page that is sent to you. Then you have a good idea about them.Such as color favorites,if they are older with grand kids or younger with small children etc. Not every sign up page is filled out the same by the same person each month. I'm always changing mine. As we post on here you can find out about the persons pets, home, where they live (house, farm, apt. condo) If they work, travel on and on. That can help you decide on fabrics or themes too. This is such a easy laid back swap. So many worry to much. Enjoy it and just have fun. One thing more POST PICTURES OFTEN ...lol.

I just got my pc package from Mrs. Shak today. It was a cute apple pincushion, spooky house box, spiders, candy, a postcard, and a balloon. I think there was a black one too but it must have popped in the box. Thanks so much
