Ctyankee, I remember you mentioning about your daughter living in Iceland. Sounds like you have had a great time. So happy for you.

Owlvamp you did a great job on all those halloween cards. I did do more for it when my son was little, and I don't have any grandchildren. I mostly do fall things now, but you did get me thinking about my great nieces. I have 4 that live close to me, and 2 more that live in the same county. They all would love and be surprised to get one. I think I might make them all one.

I have been a bit slow on getting my partners done, because we had one of our fur babies to die the other night. I also thought I was out of all card stock, but earlier today found a couple of sheets in my sewing room so now I can get on the ball.

I worked into the small hours last night and I have my Postcard swap all done. I just have to take pictures, package it and post it off tomorrow when I go into town.

Now to finish of the October pincushion / needle case swap.

Will advise you JuneBille, with a PM when it is posted and the tracking number known. A nice relief to have it done but I enjoy the challenge of these swaps as they get me out of the box and do the theme projects that I might not do otherwise. All good fun.

Wowzers Owlvamp, those are some GREAT postcards. I can't even decide which I like best. I can tell your really enjoying this months swap.

JuneBillie, glad you found your cardstock. I am so sorry for the loss of your furr baby.

How's everyone else doing? I don't know about yall, but, fall is starting to roll in slowly into my neck of the woods. But, it appears that Fall is rolling in a little faster this year then in previous years. Only time will tell. Their is a little nip in the air in the evenings. It definitely sends my thoughts in all different directions. I don't have a fire place. In Florida, their is really so few times you can actually use it. But, my neighbors do. I sure do like the smell. I wonder if it really will get cold enough to use it?

BettyJ, You just put into words how I feel about this swap also. And others I have joined in on occasion. They really do push me to try more things. And, bonus, it sounded like you had fun.

Betty J I agree with you too, and I am almost where you are on the swaps.

Owlvamp -- those postcards are truly amazing! I love them all, but particularly the one with the painted witch over the fabric. Very, very clever!

JuneBillie -- we had a great time visiting Iceland. What a fiercely beautiful country! That's one place where Mother Nature has full control!

Judith1005 -- I know what I'm making for my postcard; I just have to get my act together & make it!

Oh, & I'm wondering about the card stock, JuneBillie. I use fabric only, no card or paper. I use muslin for the address & message. What does everyone else use?
