Ladies, I am posting a link for you to look at, http://www.quiltingboard.com/general...t-t270526.html. If you know Elizabrat, one of our board members and an active swap host for about a year, she could use prayers and encouragement. If you pm frenchfryqueen http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...n-u107019.html she will give you "Brat's" address. A handmade postcard may brighten her day if you have the time. She is on the waiting list for a kidney. She is not doing really well. She has been waiting a long time. A bit of cheer via card or postcard would be welcome. It is up to you If you want to send or not. I am working on my tonight and am going to mail out tomorrow morning.

Oops I just re-read the rules of this swap...........and I see that I have been focused on the term "postcard" thinking size. I overlooked the sewing or appliqué part. Therefore I have not always followed the rules.......I am sorry and will do better. Calla

Calla, I am sorry you are also having your medical challenges as well. Your right, being sick is the pits. Getting older or dealing with an ongoing illness is definitely not for scissy's.
And, as far as not meeting the challenges of the postcards, I think you have. Basically, any sewing medium that has some sewing or quilting meets the challenge. Basically, what doesn't is paper postcards. Although, I have seen some pretty nice Artist Trading Cards made out of paper. But, we are a quilting/sewing group. So, fabric must be used in some way. Be it a little or a lot.
