JuanitaBean, I believe that petthefabric received. (I think she posted that she had.) I love the postcard you made your daughter. That plaid makes a perfect starting point for your leaves. Very pretty! I'm glad you had one similar that you could post.

JuneBillie, I love your new avatar. Very pretty!

just look at all the great PC, jeweled spiders, spiders that are ME. Fall themes, leaves, acorns on wonderful plaid background. And JuneBillie added a new avatar.......are those buttons or yo yo's?

We had our killing frost here, so the moon flowers are cut down, a few hardy zinnias that were protected remain. Starting to have color on the trees. At a road side stand yesterday free walnuts you pick or gather. I did that once, had them in the green shells looked pretty in a basket on the front porch........the squirrel ran off with them all....the little varmint.

Thank you Judith for hosting this swap. I know it is a lot of work we all appreciate your efforts.

I also received a surprise from a member here, a thoughtful FPC. I so appreciate it, you don't know what that card means. Thank you.........calla

Owlvamp, I just love the background fabric. It really sets the tone for your postcard. It makes me think of witches out in the woods "brewing" up some trouble. Very clever. The little broom is perfect.

Thank you, ladies, for your kind words about my acorn postcard; I thought it was my best -- so far!

calla -- that cauldron is adorable! Love the background fabric, too, & the broom is certainly a nice touch. And that green brew -- bubble, bubble, toil & trouble!

Ctyankee very nice acorn post card you made for petthefabric. It just looks like it went through the mail, but a few snips of those stray thread, and you will never know the difference. Very pretty.

Calla that cauldron and broom is very creative. Nice back ground fabric.

JuneBillie, I have tracked your postcard that I posted in Australia on the 8th October, Looks like it made it to • ISC LOS ANGELES CA (USPS) on the 10th October and was processed through their sorting facility. So perhaps it is not too far away now, I guess 11 days from Los Angles to where you are is a long time. Maybe you could have your local Post Office check the tracking number for you, LX066177502AU

    Hope it finds you soon.

    Love the cauldron, cute!

Pat, I am hoping your card will reach you by tomorrow. I checked the tracking number again and it said it wasn't going to be there on the expected day (well no kidding, that was yesterday) but it is in Cleveland...in transit...geez
