October Postcard Swap, Come join the fun!!

Me and Betty J decided while we wait on our post cards to each other across the pond that we will go ahead and post a picture of the one's we made for the other one.
Here is a picture of mine to Betty J. I loved the fabric I found for hers, but I was so disappointed in a bit of shrinkage of the fabrics that I sewed together. That extra stitching caused it to be a bit smaller than my card. I thought the sewing/binding I would do would cover it good, but it didn't the way I wanted it too. If I had known that I would just have trimmed the card a bit more. I didn't know where some more poster board was at that time, so I had to go ahead and send it. My husband found me some more today. lol...
This is my post card to my sweet partner Betty J.

I loved the fall fabric with even the little quilt hanging out of the barrel. lol.. I do plan to make Betty J another one for Fall that will completely cover the card, but a different style for her. I used a pale yellowish with bursts of white stars fabric on the other side too, and a pretty fall looking cut out stamp I made that turned out so cute.

Thank you Susan, that is a very nice Postcard and I am pleased you posted the picture. I am just so disappointed that after 16 days you have still not received yours from me. Just shows that express postage goes for nothing. Today I filed a missing postal item with Australia Post, so I am hoping we will receive some news of the whereabouts of Susan's postcard very soon.
Here are the pictures of the postcard and extras that I had mailed to Susan (JuneBillie) If this does not arrive I will make and mail another.

Oh my ladies, You have out done yourself.
Now, about the postage, of course, do what you all want to do, but, I just sent a postcard off to Wandin, North, Victoria, Australia. I mailed off 10/13/15 And, she let me know that she received my postcard 10/23/15. I have mailed her fabric, cards, I-Spy charms (over 100) and it has never taken that long. I know I was taking my chances. But, I have never used the tracking. I really can't afford to. Of course, I don't know where this is compared to where you live BettyJ. I do so hope all your pretties make it to JuneBillie. It really would be a shame to have those pretties sit out in Postal land. And, sometimes, with time, they do make it to the recipient.
