My word is simple, and redolent of blessings, and I'm not saying what it is. I am starting on my postcard today, happy to relax after the backyard BBQ we threw yesterday. 97 degrees by the Bay...thank god our backyard has shade.

Congratulations on the new family member!

I'm having a hard time coming up with a word for some reason, but if someone is in the same position as me, and gets me for the swap, I like the words "travel", "explore", "adventure", and "puppy" :P (I'm happy with any word though!)

I'll see if my partner has a special word before I worry that I'm drawing a blank.

Sleepy Hollow

I made my first postcard last night! I like the idea, but really don't like my execution. It's the first time I've fused fabric, and I could have done much better with the background fabric. So, that will be my practice piece, and I have a few "lessons learned" to apply to the remake. Probably won't be able to do it until next weekend, but I'm ready to make it better
