So I have a question for all you potential SP's if you had a dog, or a Cat would you be offended if someone sent them a Halloween costume... Even if it was so darn cute it makes everyone around the pet smile? Since I am not sure what the dog (or Cat's) sex is I am not sure if the owner would like this cute cute cute costume for their pet? (I don't think it would look very cute on a Monkey though. But you just never know!

ps, Miss Bella would scratch out my eyes if I tried to put it on her....

I am not going to tell you how I know this to be true, but she is glaring at me from across the room and I have a scratch, A VERY Big one!

Fun reading all the posts - most made me laugh, others made me empathetic. And I want Beach Plum Jelly/Jam AND the Raspberry, Blackberry, Blueberry, Marionberry, Strawberry, Olaliberry Chocolate Mint Jelly all to myself, OK K?

My memory is short, so forgive me if I missed you by name (I should have written my thoughts down). Glad to hear Shea is improving. Love the new guide dog - what a beauty. And to all who need extra prayers for any reason, I say them every night for all the board members. You all are lovely people and I'm glad to be a part of this group.

SP Clue #1. I found the thing my SP wanted in two sizes yesterday, so SP will be getting 2 of them. I was amazed by the sewing stuff/yarn/notions Tuesday Morning had on sale. I could have bought soooo much stuff, but I refrained a little bit. Did you know that Tuesday Morning is named that because that's the day/time they get their new shipments? My store of choice (I have 3 options) was having a sale and the line was out the door. Since I was at work, I had to wait to go until noon - it's within walking distance of work yippee, although this is hazardous to my wallet. Much of the stuff was gone, but I still got some awesome bargains.

Clue #2. I seem to generally get assigned SP's who are far distant of me. If only mailing their packages would get me frequent flier miles, I'd be in Europe for free by now. No my SP is not across the pond. I have the domestic variety.

    Clue #3. Pets are involved

Enough said for now. Good night all.

Mary beth it sounds like your dh and you are well matched!
Darlene, if your dgd hasn't outgrown her quilt, maybe a quilted vest or pancho, a if you do the purses one for her to carry a doll in would be fun.
K lol&rof what did the swappers think when they got their own names?

ok still have some pages to read.

K maybe you can ride the monkey out to the airport and get some of the ear protectors the guys on the tarmack wear-the monkey could run up and grab you a set.
All your jams are good-I'll bet.

I like bright colors so those aren't me.

And why would anyone in Florida want mittens, I could see glove for style but mittens? Oh maybe for style too, but isn't it too hot?
well better figure out what I can get for my pal, she didn't list too much to go on.

Is it me again?!!? I agree, I could rack up some frequent flyer miles, that would be awesome. And we have Tuesday Morning here as well, was my sister's favorite store. Hadn't been in there in awhile and went kinda recently and found the asian teapot I've been wanting for about half the price they normally retail. So exciting. There was a rug I REALLY wanted but didn't have the money for, but not really much else I was in love with. Didn't see any sewing related stuff there though.

Hehe, I love to torment my critters with costumes! Sadly, they don't make them (at least nothing cute) in sizes to fit my dog, and the fatso cat is 20lbs so he can fit in some dog costumes.. hehe but the itty bitty is only 5 pounds so I can keep dressing her up for awhile. I just put her in the sacred panda costume for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was funny watching her zoom around backwards every time the hood fell forward.

Good morning all! Starshine, you'd be surprised that there are some days in FL that one does need mittens. I'm in the south area and though they are shortlived I remember a cold front a few yrs back that for a few days it dropped to 29 in the morning! Granted they don't last long but wow I had gloves, hat, work jacket and all, minus boots since clearly we do not get snow. Everyone have a great day!

I have a granddog who loves to get dressed up for Halloween. He goes to all the local businesses, and out of town businesses. I'd say he goes about 80 miles one way trick or treating. People call to see if he is coming, so they can get him a special treat. We started going to just local businesses and friends. We would put treats in his pumpkin for him to give out. Yes, he carries his pumpkin in his mouth! Now people ask for him to come and give him boxes and bags of treats. His costumes are too expensive, since he wears a 2xl. This will be his 8th year and he is going to be a dinosaur.

Oh my your granddog sounds absolutely adorable. I do not have any pets at the moment as my 2 cats passed away but we have been discussing getting a small dog. My daughter has been begging for a dog for a long while and she just loves animals. I would totally dress my dog up for halloween if I had one. Some people may think its torture but what fun! Would love to see a picture of your granddog in his halloween costume. Please post...
