Holy mackerel! I just discovered that my machine has a 1/4" seam foot! Wow! What a difference! And what a knucklehead I've been not to use it! Back to stitching, pal!

Ordered one of the items off of my SPs wish list. Hope I can find some time to make something. I have had mine before although it has been awhile.

I have fabric from my stash pulled for my SP, but there wasn't much on her list of wants or likes. Hopefully I will have the pkg finished and ready to mail by next week. Need to do a little shopping and finish up some handmade gifts for her.

This is my second SP swap and my first partner sent a very nice note with her pkg letting me know that I needed to put more info on the questionaire,so I did this time, even if I thought it sounded like I was asking for too much, but I know realize it's not that you are asking for these items, you are just giving your partner a wide variety of choices, which is a good thing.

I finished one project yesterday for one of my SPs, and am working on one for the second one. With Monday being a holiday, I won't get my packages send out until Tuesday. Still under the wire, but I do like to try and get them out early. But it ain't going to happen this month, so all SPs -- be patient as good things are coming your way.

Jeanne, it's always fun to know what your partner likes and dislikes and what she collects, so I'm happy that you added a lot of information. I hope I get you one of these months -- unless -- heh, heh -- I have you THIS month? Who knows?

Belfrybat, I'm sure your partner won't mind waiting a little bit. You put together some really thoughtful packages! Mine will make the deadline, but I'm afraid I got a little over ambitious with the homemade item this month -- even with the added aide of a 1/4" foot!

Daisy's bloodwork came back normal. Figures. Not that I want her to be sick, but Mama Mia! When we got back from the vet the shot they gave her kicked in and she was ravenous. She ate all of her dinner and then chased the bigger dog away and ate half of his! Little pig!

Don't feel bad -- our African Spur tortoise stopped eating completely, now going on almost 3 months. DH so upset he drove to vet specializing in reptiles 150 miles away TWICE, left her there both times for a week's stay (that's four round trips, plus boarding which they actually charged), and three rounds of antibiotics, and a couple trips to our own vet here for shots -- and she still hasn't eaten. I won't even look at what that vet bill cost. She's still breathing, not moving more than a couple feet in any direction. Prognosis doesn't look good. All this for something my kids brought home after telling their friend "My mom'll take it!" Had the dang thing for 15 years now.

Still searching for one of my SP's wants -- something that used to be fairly easy to find and now -- not so much. As anyone else noticed a sudden rise in fabric costs, along with groceries?
