I would like to share with everyone this lovely package that I received on Friday from my secret swapper Jo. I received the entire 12 BOM and the finishing kit for the Arbor Lane Quilt-can't wait to begin this quilt, a patchibilities applique pattern ( I love applique-and look forward to making this one), a pretty notepad, rose petal soaps, and a peep hole which I never thought about using for getting distance when checking on a pattern and color placement. What a great idea! I bet everyone knew this ....but me!!!! It is such a nice package I can't thank her enough, an she did all this from the road.... she was traveling! Thank you-Thank you-Thank you!

    That's a very good question!
Yes, it is a great question and I don't mail internationally but if I did, I would want to know that too!

OK Candi, have you seen any hints of packages headed to Florida while you were zooming around on your broom? I think I have read every page, but may have missed a hint here or there.

And I want to say thank you for your service and sacrafice for all of us in your sevice to our country ! God Bless. Sara
Hi Sara. Charles has asked me to send you a message. He is "dictating" it and I am just typing it for him.

    He says...
Sara I am glad that you like what I sent to you. My wife made the chair caddy for me after I asked her to make one for you. I am still not going to learn to sew. But I am having fun doing the swap with everyone. I like the color blue and just assume that you probably did too. And you are welcome for my Military Service. Now is it time to sign up for the November Secret Pal Swap?

Now for what I want to say....
I want to say Thank you to everyone for allowing Charles to join us in the Swap. He is so enjoying it. And he is so anxious to do the next one he is like a child in a candy store.
He does not sew at all, but I have started him a little "stash" of his own for the months he chooses to do the swap. Oh and dont ever be surprised if he sends a package of JUST CANDY. As he has been "candy" shopping and has quite a bit. Lori he is still sending you the gummy bears. Its a 6 pound bags worth!!!! I will try to get him to send it to you Friday when we go to town.
Deanna, We're happy to have Charles as our Honorary SP Swapper and so glad he's enjoying it. It's such a small thing and you and Lori do all the work. :) I wouldn't mind at all if he had my name and I got just candy because him having been military he can do about anything he wants/is able to do and it's fine with me. God Bless our military, past and present. Please thank him for me, too.

    Yes Candi
How a bout finding out where my package is... I'm down here in Florida too... Put another something in my November box...I haven't included candy in either of my packages as I don't get out much after I get the name, so it's hard for me to put candy in there so my Pin Cushions are the candy...

I think it is so awesome that Charles was permitted
    to join in the swap.
Other than Charles did we have any other gentlemen
swapping? If not I wonder if we can try to convince
the men in the group to join in the swaps also.

Or am I just daydreaming (as usual)?

    Message to Charles:

Thank you from my heart for your service. My husband
is vet from the first Gulf War, and because of that
he now suffers from asthma (although the Army denies
    the claim).

I am loving seeing all the pictures of what everyone
is receiving. Can not wait to join more swaps like this.
