if it's any consolation they were very late this year, we left about 2 weeks ago and really didn't get to see any great maples/crimson/bright yellows til we hit the mountains in NC.
And the maples really don't grow well in the south

I do miss the maples we don't have them here in Florida, we did see some light color on the way back from airport today. Son left to go back to Michigan... but we don't get much color at all...

Beautiful trees. It's getting just like that around here in Mo. I drove to town today (15 miles each way)It was a gorgeous ride. I see so many really pretty goodies in the swaps today. I want that bed runner.It's really something. The redwork is so cute too.Good luck Wonda Lou Mary
