Maggy, such a beautiful handbag you made with the fabrics from Ladybug! I love the pattern and fabrics! What a great idea to share what you made with the fabrics you received from your September Secret Pal, Ladybug!

For those who enjoy celebrating Halloween, The current Fon's and Porters Quilting Celebration magazine has a couple of great Halloween Recipes I thought I would share with you all.
Beggar's Bounty Snack Mix
8 cups caramel corn
3 cups salted peanuts
2 cups Chex* cereal
2 cups candy corn
1 cup M&M's* or Reese's Pieces*
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup Craisins
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Yields approximately 4 quarts. This is great for dividing into individual treat bags for guests.
Witch's Brew
2 (3-ounce) packages lime-flavored gelatin
1 quart hot water
1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1&3/4 cups white sugar
4&1/2 cups cold water
2 liters ginger ale
1. In a large pan, dissolve gelatin in 1 quart of hot water. Allow to cool.
2. When gelatin is cool, pour into a large punch bowl. Stir in pineapple juice, orange juice concentrate, limeade concentrate, sugar and 4 1/2 cups cold water. Add gingerale just before serving. ~Enjoy!

If I understand this swap correctly.... You send a $10 gift plus anything else you want to send (based on the persons likes)???? And secret Pals change every month??
Question....Once you join, do you have to sign up every month, or just notify when you want to drop out?
I just joined the secret santa swap, and I see more swaps going on... They sound like fun!

Good Morning Lori! How is your friend Marty today? Doing good here! I just need to get busy doing something besides playing on my computer. LOL! Maybe cleaning, sewing my quilt blocks for my fall quilt, before it's time to put on my Christmas quilt!
