Well I stayed home from the Sierra Shop Hop today because my bones and muscles are aching like they are on fire today.
But... I finished up my blocks for the swap!
They are morning glories that have the stems and leaves embroidered on first, the flowers are stencil painted onto a seperate white piece of fabric , left three days to dry, roughly cut out and then steam a seamed onto the picture.
Then on the sewing machine they were center detail stitched, then satin stitched around the flowers onto the vine. The batik border sewn on. The batik has a gold squiggly lines running through it. Lastly, a embroidered center was hand sewn on and pressed.
Yippee... All Done!
I really like them guys, what do you think? I call them, "Red Sky in the Morning" I have to admit, there are a couple of them that are slightly short of a 12 1/2 " size. If you don't want them in the swap I will understand. Just let me know.

Thanks so much! I will try and mail them soon. I think these are all I will be making for the painted blocks swap. These took long enough! LOL!
Oh the stencil pot paints said that they were perminent after three days drying. So they should be fine to hand wash.
