I have to say...this was a great idea for a block swap...I needed to do something diff. And even though I resisted for wks I had to give in and happy I did...Everyone who has posted their designs...good job...look fwd to rec'ing some. In fact, for Oct's doll swap I decided to do an all painted/stenciled top.

First blocks I've been watching here on the board, the wonderful William Morris blocks. I decided to try these in stencil with fabric paint - may make some for myself, but really wanted to try somthing differtnt for this swap.
S  Second blocks I used 3 techniques - fabric dye, stenciling and placing objects on the block to help resist the dye, and leave an image. This was FUN - just like the title to this swap said.
