    Okay... when we say dark and light and then light and dark, we are talking about the exterior... correct?

    The light/dark and dark/light is referring to the 'X's' in the block;

    The top left block below is a dark/light block and the 2nd from the left (top row) is a light/dark block. Our corner units will be light/neutral.

    Hope that helps - - -

    Great! And, yes, your 1st block is a light/dark and the 2nd block is a dark/light.

    Ganny - I'm curious to know what size triangle you cut to do these blocks?

    Jane, I took one of the paper pieces, and cut the 3 sizes out adding the 1/4 inch allowance. Then Used that to make a plastic template. I guess you could do the same with cardboard. Just made it easy for me. There is only 3 sizes, so it works out well.

    Thanks, Ganny. Great suggestion, hav4boys. I was thinking Vellum but it's kind of expensive.

    I have a question... what is the preference for the corners. I got crazy last night and cut out 40 sets and realized I did not use light colors for all corners. I noticed in the picture, they are not all light corners. Please let em know before I sew all these. Thank you!

    I've seen Kaleidoscope quilts with half-light corners/half-dark corners and others with all light/neutral corners. In this swap we're doing all light/neutral corners. Here's an example:

    Isn't it cool???

    Okay... so the one I posted where I did red, I will keep. I will do 24 light corners for the swap, and that will give me 24 of my own with colored corners. Works for me. Thank you so much.
