All corners are to be light or medium corners. Does it matter which color goes on which block-- light corners on light blocks, medium corners on dark blocks, or mix them up?

Oh I may have to jump in on this one. Never did one, so I'll decide for sure once I try a block and see if I am not embarrassed enough to swap it out.

Those look like fun! And a nice stash buster.

I am a bit new at this - is the fabric to be washed or unwashed?

rbwiese, I never wash my fabrics, unless I'm printing on them. That will be a personal choice. Hav4boys, those look great.
Jane, mine are finished. Ready to ship.

rbwiese-- Quilting Board guidelines are: "When an activity includes swapping fabrics, they should be washed, dried and ironed and cut as precisely as your skills allow. Organizers should not require they be starched or otherwise treated unless it's essential to success in the type of project involved. Those of us who don't normally prewash should make exceptions when joining in group activities. It's a courtesy to others who may have allergies or other health needs requiring smoke and animal free environments/supplies." See this link: Rules For Swaps And Similar Activities - Updated 8 December 2010

Thanks - givio - I had not read or had forgotten that information. It just is a good idea to be on the same page whether washed or not. I had not seen the information in the swaps guidelines.

Added: I should have seen it - I add the guidelines in my swap info, so no excuse for me not knowing. Thanks - Rena

We would love to have you jump in and have fun with us! When it comes to paper piecing, it's a pretty easy block and it's a great way to learn or ((in my case)) improve my PPing skills.

Yes, swaps have general guidelines for the QB, however it's not an absolute requirement for this swap. I'm not going to kick you out if you don't prewash your fabrics.

That said, if anyone has any allergies or sensitivities please let me know.
