Went to my LQS today. I was a good girl. Only spent $22. Got red, white, and blue fabric to make 1 set of blocks and 1 set of pinwheels. My plan is to go every two weeks for the next month to get this swap finished. I also had to get fabric to finish sashing on another quilt top I am doing for my DD.
Here's what I came up with...

Got it all cut. I have to work until 8pm tomorrow so I won't be in the sewing corner until Friday night. Hope to get these knocked out by the week end. Then on to the next set next week end. For this block, I am using this pattern I found at The Quilter's Cache http://quilterscache.com/T/TheOldRed&BlueBlock.html.

Hi all! I'm pretty new here and have never done a swap before. I read all these threads and think how fun it would be, so I might be in. I'm going to try and get some done before I sign up, but just wanted to say hello and hope that you will let me in on the fun!
Happy Valentines Day!
