I live in NC and will soon be taking a trip to AL in a few weeks! My Swap Buddie lives just 30 mins from the place I'm visiting and works there during the week. So we are going to meet up and exchange in person!!! Yay!!!

Kooklabell, what a Find!!! You really have a great pincushion there. Have you named her? I agree, what stories she could tell..... Anyone have an idea as to how old she is? That's be interesting to find out. Now I'll be out looking......

I just call her "Aunt Lee's pincushion". My husband was exec. of his uncle's estate. He was 97. Aunt Lee passed when she was 70. Uncle didn't throw anything of hers away when she passed. I had never seen her sewing room. I found the pincushion - as my sil was about to put her in a trash bag. Sure wish I knew what happened to her sewing machine!! I did grab some other "vintage" things that I treasure as well. I never met Aunt Lee, but she's here in my sewing room :)

Mine hasn't gone out as planned because I had to add a little something special for my swap partner. I hope you like them both.

Awesome pincushion you rescued. I would have done the same thing.
