They have flatrate envelopes and small boxes. Postage is $4.95 if they fit. The envelopes and boxes are free, you just pay when you send them. They have larger flatrate boxes, too, but they are $10 something to ship. And you're right - if it fits, it ships.

What I meant was about sending postage to MegaAnn not how to mail the secret pal package. I was wondering what she was referring to when she said for us to send her postage. Was that to send the potholders back to us?? I was confused.

Do I have this correct?
    That's right!

Yup, you've got it Nolee. That's to send 'em back to you. So... whatever method you use to get them to me, it'll cost about the same to mail that same number of potholders back to you.

I've recieved from 2 swappers so far. One sent in an envelope, the other in a flat-rate box. 10 potholders fit in the $4.95 flat rate box with no problem, so that's probably the simplest (although not necessarily the cheapest!) if you're sending 10.

I'm really thinking about joining this swap. I haven't made any potholders yet but I'll be at my local quilt store this week so I might just buy some fabric and batting to make some up.

I'm considering this one. I love potholders - I just have to find my insulbrite before I commit.

I think you could say mine are more soft pads for putting flowers or trinkets on. I couldn't get to the store for ironing board fabric so I used two thicknesses of batting and that might not be enough for picking up hot things, but they are kinda pretty.
