These are my 3 1/2 inched foundation pieced hearts. Does anyone object if I leave the foundation papers intact, since you are supposed to the paper when you have the blocks sewn together? These were really quick so I'm gonna whip up another set of six, looking for a new pattern as we speak.

This is an unfinished 6 1/2" foundation pieced block for my second set. The fabrics are "L'Amour" by Sandy Gervais for Moda. Again, do you guys want me to leave the foundation paper on the blocks so you can remove it when you get ready to sew the blocks together? If I leave it on there then the blocks will be more stable. Just let me know :)

I like the little hearts, but remember we only get to send in one set of 3.5 blocks.

The second set colors are so nice. Those I would tend to lean more towards. You are doing a great job on the PP.

I got them from Carol Doak's website, I guess she is a big name in paper piecing and the patterns were free. Its hard to find paper pieced valentines besides hearts, I might piece some traditional blocks from the same fabric.

Thanks :) They are fun and quick, sometimes you just need instant gratification on projects!

Nadia...I LOVE your 6 1/2" PP blocks! The colors are fabulouso!!! The 3 1/2" set is also sooo cute! A perfect little filler. I never sew my PP blocks together with the papers on, but don't mind taking papers off either...I would love getting either one of your blocks! Carol Doak rocks doesn't she?

I have been toying with different blocks and am not sure what to do? I thought I saw a bit of lavender a few pages back, but am wondering about my colors on this? I've only made one so it's not a big deal to change...this little tulip is paper pieced.

The basket of hearts is just something I'm thinking of doing...the basket is paper pieced and the hearts are appliqued on...but here's where I'd appreciate your thoughts...should I go with a red or pink basket instead of a green? I've also only made one of this block, so it's no big deal to change colors and such. I'd appreciate your comments...thanks!

I LOVE the flower basket the way it is, but if you want to change anything maybe a lighter green? not so saturated?
