QuilterMomma thinks I should make a mouse to go with my farm animals. Or maybe she thinks the cat I made needs to be fed? My blocks are send out and I reached my limit of sets, 4 sets of 6 blocks each. Anyone else making a mouse to feed the cat?

Keep the jokes coming. I am trying them out on all my children. Love the piggy/oinkment joke.

Fraew 08-24-2012 06:23 AM

Q: What do cows get when they are sick?

A: Hay fever! ;)

QuilterMomma 08-24-2012 08:13 AM

See, someone else loves Laffy Taffy jokes as well. Love the hay fever thing, yep good one.

I found a mouse stack on embroidery library and some other farm stacks I am going to make for my own. I have already mailed my sets as well. Found a couple of chicken ones I think I may make for the chicken swap, or at least for my own I will.

Why was the cat afraid of the tree?

he was afraid of its bark.

Lv2sew2011 08-29-2012 08:59 PM

Ok found one and hope it hasnt already been said, but I found it cute!

Q: Why don't cows have any money?
A: Because the farmers milk them dry.

Not sure but some of remember the Cow Pokes with the jokes on the inside of the wrapper? Or was that another candy? LOL

Pink Lady 08-30-2012 12:17 PM

What do you call a cow that was raised in the city fed nothing but hay?

Unpasteurized

Scrapper 08-31-2012 01:26 PM

Ok co-op farm gals, I have mailed my block sets to Ms. Grace........I am so enjoying all the "farm jokes", I have decided to embroider every one of them on the back of my "fun on the farm" quilt.........this shall be my label. Yee haw.....

How do you make an egg laugh?

Tell it a yolk.

Scrapper 08-31-2012 01:29 PM

And just one more giggle for the long holiday weekend:

Where did the farmer take the pigs on Saturday afternoon?

He took them to a pignic.

I hope these blocks will work for this swap, but I thought snow would be fun on a farm especially if you like sledding...LOL

It was hard trying to figure out how to cut this fabric it had so many pictures. LOL

Now question for you I still have enough of these cows to make another set of blocks but at a bigger size, does any one object to me making another set of these cow blocks but in a bigger size? And different views of the fabric they all won't be exactly the same just like below similar to that set.

I have fabric cut out to make 9.5 X 12.5 or 12.5 X 12.5
Here is a picture of the 9.5 X 12.5

Lv2sew2011 09-17-2012 01:29 PM

OH no! I didn't realize how close it was to the mailing date, I was trying to digitize an embroidery design but couldn’t get it right so I’ve only been able to create one set of blocks I need your address, I can’t find it. So I can get it mailed today but I only have 30 minutes to get to the PO before it closes….

QuilterMomma 09-21-2012 08:30 AM

Only 20 more days when our blocks are swapped. Wow, all my summer work is going to be coming home this month and in October, I am sure going to have some quilts to work on during the winter.

Ms Grace 09-21-2012 08:45 AM

I see mine took the slow route...probably grazing and lazing along the way. Sorry for the delay.

Have a great weekend all. :)
