Sending healing thoughts your way Yosa, is always tough when the little ones are down. Poor thing. Even my older children I get side tracked when they don't feel well. Hang in there.

Update on my lil man!!! HE is doing SO much better!!! It only took 2 weeks, but I think he is finally on the mend. He is eating more foods and drinking a lot more. He isn't throwing up or anything else, so I think we are finally getting better!!! :) Thank you for the support!!!

I am reporting in, my quilt top actually came out of hiding today and I made a few more of the pretty pretty blocks... I have a lot to do to catch up, but I figured if I did a little of this and a little of that, it would feel better... My saying for the day is the hurrieder I get the behinder I get... LOL, I am tired and not making any sense, spending too much time at the hospital and not enough time at home, but duty calls and the "Super Woman" answers~ I just want to crash~
Mom has has some pretty bad days following her heart surgery and it is Stress! Sewing calms me, but falling behind stresses me! UGH a vicious cycle... Ok my pity party is over, thanks for giving me a place to Whine, now where is some wine hehe... |
Well my quilt is done, backing cut & pieced, batting ready and will be off to quilters next month what she gets back from vacation.

Oh Marybeth, you poor baby, don't stress about deadlines, traffic and bad hair days, ok? It's ok to stress about your mom, the size of your fabric stash and whether your supply of chocolate will last the week. Your quilting friends can always help with the last two. ( I bet Elizabrat has LOTS of chocolate hiding in her sewing room - I'll make her share!)Hospitals are no fun for anyone. Sending lots of good thoughts for your mom's recovery and lots of hugs for you.

Ditto on TwinRiverFarm for you Marybeth. We have time yet, it is only the beginning of March and that still gives you three months to work on it. Be with your mom. Yes hospitals are tasking so bring some handwork so you can relieve some of that stress. Will make your mom feel better also knowing you are doing something that you love to keep you occupied while there.
Just think I have barely even started mine so you are even further ahead of me. LOL |
Triple ditto from your partner. Sewing is your stress reliever don't make it stress you out. Deadlines can be broken, rules too. Don't worry about a thing, it's all good. Everything will work out in the end, may be a different plan, but I am flexible and you should allow yourself to be too. Few things in life are set in stone, it's always changing and it's easier to go with it. No more stressing, take a deep breath and relax!
