Time to organize and start swapping!!!

Hey ladies!!! I have all of the twists swapped. I will organize sets tomorrow and Monday. There are a couple of duplicate fabs, just an FYI. Also, everyone will get one of their own fabs back as well. These are amazing fabrics!!!!!

April – June’s swap theme is “Farmer’s Market or Fun on the Farm” 6-1/2” squares, up to 6 sets. Think anything that you would find on a farm or at a farmer’s market. Ideas would be: eggs, chickens, milk, cows, fruits, veggies, trees, honey, bees, tractors, seeds, flowers, farmer, barn, barn doors, etc. Get creative and have fun!!! -- I bought mine this past weekend!!! Will post pics when the new thread is up either the end of March or first of April. :)

Well funny that! he he, I just sent pm wondering what your next one would be! I am in I have some really really cute farm fabric! I just finished a tee shirt quilt using farm equipment as boarders! So I am even stocked up! I love making tee shirt quilts, they are so awesome, and nothing my customers like better than to see their own shirts on a quilt!

LOL...I should send you some of mine to do for me. :) I'm saving a bunch of lil man's shirts as he gets bigger and some of his lil outfits that I am NOT getting rid of. That will eventually be turned into a quilt for me to cherish forever!!! :)

I completed a quilt with baby clothes on it last month. The lady that commissioned me to make it is a OB/GYN nurse and works in delivery, great free advertising for me. She had saved her children's favorite clothing (she has 3) and I had so much fun making it! I think my specialty is doing memory quilts, I love them and might be a little weird but honestly the items of clothing just emit a energy that you capture the personality of the person. OK I get the weird award this week!

I make enough money doing memory quilts and tee shirt quilts to get to travel to see my grand kids! but I really love doing it! I can't wait to get the farm stuff going! I hope it is ok if I say this but I am using some John Deere fabric. I know there are a lot of different fabrics out there but would hate for you to have a ton of duplicates!

Those will be fine. :) I'm excited about the farm fabs too. There are so many different options. :)

The farm swap is such a great idea! I have at least 3 fabrics that would be perfect for that swap. Wish I could sign up early.

Found some perfect farm fabrics in my stash. Kinda forgot I had them. But they will be perfect. Still need more though. Darn-need to go shopping. HeeHee

I love them! Wow that was amazingly fast! I can't wait for the time to actually play with this fabric! and my Farm fabric is CUT~ Ok I am a little on the crazy side of life but I love patches of fabric so much! You know there is not enough room in this house to have a lot of big pieces but it is big enough to have TONS of little pieces~ Now i am going to look again and pick out my favorite!

I just have to know who had the tennis shoe fabric and where did you get it! I love it and I want it! hehe. I have a quilt I made for myself out of my early running shirts. I used the breast cancer fabric for back ground and sashing in spots, but the next one I make I want to use that Tennis shoe fabric! How perfect it will be. I have been looking on line but haven't found it yet~

I received my package on Friday, my 22 month old grandson had fun as we went through telling me what was on each block. All the ones with flying stuff and boats are in one pile and all the ones with cars and and trains and bikes are in another to make him an I spy backing for the roadway quilt that he is getting for driving his cars on.

my farm fabric is waiting for the word Yosamitesa, I am excited about the farm one, Charleigh, likes all the animals that live on a farm. The Mamas and the babies. I think at pre school they had a lesson about spring time and all the new babies being born on the famr!

Alright...I'll post tomorrow. :) Just please be patient with me over the weekend. It's my anniversary weekend. :) Yep...got married on St. Patrick's Day!!!

Awe, what a great Anniversary day! Ours is Pearl Harbor day! One I never forget, it is also the date my Father passed away. Dec 7th. I am having so much fun cutting my farming squares I got carried away and made a batch of 2.5 inch ones and 1.5 inch ones.

I am making a family tree quilt for my Mom's 80th BD and I am going to have a blast with it! It will be a blessing of her life. Most of her children will be a branch on her tree, and the grand kids and great grand-kids are going to be leaves. But I am adding another dimension and putting butterflies, birds, a car under the tree, a picnic table, flowers. They will be friends and family members that have passed on. I am not sure how I am going to do this yet, but the picture is starting to form in my mind! I will post pictures in the picture thread or my own albums. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated~ I am using a few blocks that I got in the transportation swap!
