MJP this is the block I made for you. I LOVE that fabric!
It looks like I am going to have time to add embroidery to your block. I've actually designed some hand embroidery to go on it. Your on my list of people who ok'd this but if its something you don't want, let me know. |

NanaKathy I made you a block but I used white, which wasn't what you wanted. Here it is. I've pm'd you with four possible solutions. Unfortunately they wouldn't let me put a picture in a pm. Can I blame this on my menopausal brain?

LOL... all they need is little black eyes! :D So cute.

Mjp, those are some great blocks, but mine is off the shelf great, I love it! I do some applique but isn't my "go to" technique unless it is blocky I'm not particularly good at it. I do occasionally make exceptions for special blocks like the Abbey Road one last swap.

Really nice blocks, mjp! It looks easy enough to swap out the white in Kathy's block for more gray. Doesn't look too painful! :D
The Mickey/Minnie block is a real winner! Is there a pattern or did you just wing it, chopping and inserting? I love how it shows off a lot of the fabric, yet is really stylish. The diamond shaped block is really pretty, but it's not Kass' fabric. Hers is the citrus theme-- yellow gingham. That fabric is from jclinganrey, |
Marija your block is on deck and under my needle now. I did the fussy stripe work today after my nap, but in addition to work I have classes this week so not sure when it will be finished.
