The fabric w/ the birds has all the perfect colors in your fabric. And the cats are so mellow after all the beer and wine, the birds are safe. lol

SewBG love your row by row. I've collected some of the patterns, but haven't had time to sew. Oh well. One of these days. I love the chickens too.

Mjp, have you ever done the yearly Row by Row quilt? The patterns last year seemed to be mostly raw edge applique. That was how I got my feet wet with applique. I had so much fun doing it, too. This is mine, 2016, theme "Home Sweet Home". Believe it or not, the Graceland row was all pieced! Not one applique in it... That one 'stretched' me, too. Great learning quilt.

It always amazes me - I look at the fabric someone sends out and can't wrap my mind on it. Then the blocks are made and it becomes alive. NanaK's low key fabric blocks are awesome with the pale grays and yellows.
And then there is Kass - I saw her "gingham" and was blank. But those citrus colors are so wonderful - I am falling in love with orange/yellow and green! and Terri's block is off the board! |
Ohhh so many great blocks, but Terri, mine is off the charts great!!!!! This is going to be one amazing quilt.
