Geez.. AARP has been harassing me to join them for years. I want to know how old they think I am!!! I'm not even 32 yet..

Is Lori not on here? I signed up for this swap on July 25th and never received a swap partner and I have contacted her through pm and not received any answers, does anyone know if she is okay or? Thank you, Lynn, sewbeadit

ok, where did you find him and how much to trade? Mine actually took my gingher scissors and trimmed a small plant. I about flopped over. He did sheepishly offer to pay to have them sharpened. Five pairs of fiscars and he picked those. I am up for a trade honest.

I solved this by giving my DH his own scissors. Several times a year, if necessary.

off subject where do you go online for your fabric? I tend to go to ebay. Love Hancocks of Paducah's physical catalogue. That is eye candy and I can read it (lol) and read it.. and.. porn for quilters.

I get all my quilt porn at fabric.com......................

I didn't think of this in time for August's secret box, but how do you ladies feel about non-quilting magazines, like Martha Stewart & Real Simple?

I usually save them to donate to my son's school (cause what 3rd grade class doesn't massacre magazines for art projects?) but his teacher said she's still full from last year.

I was thinking maybe I could stick one or two in the swap packages, but since it's not directly quilting related, I thought I'd better ask first.

I think that would be great. I know that I do more than just quilt. I like all sorts of crafts and also Martha does have some great ideas for other stuff also. I would definitely not have a problem getting on in my box.

Okay, time for more clues. SP your zip adds up to 34. You unfortunately are allergic to one of your state symbols. Last clue for today, your states bday is also the same day as a very celebrated occasion. Thats all for now.

As far as I'm concerned, any crafty, cooking, or decorative magazine would be most welcomed. I don't subscribe to any magazines. I only buy occasionally. Although I would love Country or one of those that has no advertisements!!

Am gathering items for my SP. This is too much fun. There is lots this person likes and I'd love to get one of everything, so it comes down to decisions. SP is in the land of cotton - no wonder the person likes textiles.

I'm good with other magazines too!

Ahh....SP, I am heading to Jo-Ann's tommorrow with my 50 percent off coupon. I'll see if I can find that fabric you need. :) I'm also gonna toss some really good coffee in the box when I send it.

Krystyna: Thanks for the story about the Xanax and the job. Any more these days it seems everything is stressfull. If it isn't the job, it is the people and the dramah! I just cannot do the drama any more or the negative attitudes. I try to stay up beat.
