Marlenab, the others are right. Lots of us have miscut fabric. It happens so no worries. You can piece together what you need from what remains if you think it still looks nice (some fabrics it wouldn't even be noticeable) or just ask here and tell us how much you need. FYI to everyone, if this happens to you, please feel free to email me and I'll source it for you. Some people prefer not to share they've made a goof and some don't mind. I assure you, this happens in virtually every swap, but you all just don't always know it! :)

I managed to get two more blocks done yesterday. Would have had three done except I goofed up and cut two pieces 1/2 inch too short. Now what? Can't cut new pieces because there is not enough fabric. I drew each piece out on graph paper and figured I would have just enough fabric. Then I go and cut the last two pieces a tad short. Not even sure how I managed that. Didn't realize it till it came time to add those two pieces to the block. Anyone done this? How would you handle it? I thought about adding a half inch piece to each end. Feeling so frustrated with myself!

Pretty avatar quilt, Janice!

Thanks :). It's my Boom 14 quilt so it's definitely a UFO. Or rather, it WAS a UFO. It's QAYG. I like it now that it's done but I had a heck of a time with some of it. It's into the washer this morning to "wash out" some of my less noticeable blunders. (Some of the quilting is not very straight. Shrinkage will be my friend with this one.) I'm trying to figure out what top is next. :)

When you are finished with your blocks, come on over and join in the mug rug swap. We can always use more people! Thursday is the last day to sign up.

Mona....I used the same excuse last night not to sew..BIG BROTHER!! But I'm so frustrated with the ones that are left on that show that I'm not sure I want to watch anymore of it! My granddaughter got me hooked on that one when it first started. Ive watch Survivor since the beginning and Great American Race...

Janice...great looking quilt! I love the QAYG you did on it! Is anyone in our group from the Texas area?? Hope they are all save!!

Joan
