I have some rare genetics in my flock. That chick is scaleless, it has both Sc genes so cannot grow feathers and has no leg scales. The males never grow spurs either b/c a spur is a modified scale. Many of my birds are carriers (have one Sc gene)

Your grown up chick is a real beauty. Baby chicks are adorable but still feel bad for the poor little featherless ones. Do you name your chicks?

Yes I do on some. The ones that stand out usually get names.
