Two more blocks for tonight. The first is called Air Castle for Mollymunchkin and the second is Whirly Jig for Kassaundra.

Jaba, sorry to hear about all your issues. However, there is plenty of snow and cold here in Wyoming that you are missing!!

Cool blocks Mona and Jayne, love mine Jayne, I don't remember seeing that pattern before.

The train onesie is adorable. Gramps looks very pleased. :). Cute hooded towels, too.

SO just wanted to share... I stayed with my sister this weekend. Their first grand baby is due in February. I made baby Leo some hooded bath towels but the highlight was the train shirt I made for my brother-in-law. I also made his grand baby a onesie. I appliques a cut out of one of the trains from his shirt material.

I'm sorry to hear of all the work you're having to deal with. No hot water is pretty miserable, esp at shower or bath time. :(. I know that mood all too well. Let's hope it dissipates soon.

Joan, we made it just fine. Dealing with a lot of cleanup and replacement of things that were ruined, like the air conditioner and heat unit, then having the company cut wires that knocked out the hot water tank and now waiting for that to be fixed too. Haven't had hot water since Saturday. I'm in one of those moods that say "keep your mouth shut ".

Please remember I encourage you to use the full time you need to complete your blocks. There is no rush to get them in before the due date of October 25. To me, there is no difference between getting them in a month in advance or on the day they are due. I just ask that they arrive by the due date, not after. Thanks!

Janice,

I thought blocks were due to you by the 20th?

terriamn 10-10-2017 06:40 AM

Love all the blocks and hooded towels. The onesie is absolutely darling and gramma to be looks tickled pink by it.

Jaba sorry you are dealing with such a mess, hope you get hot water quickly so you can at least take a long hot shower.

Kassandra I agree, thought it was very strange fabric for him to pick. Personally not my cup of tea at all, hoping once you ladies work your magic I will love it.
