Internet problems abound. I keep getting dumped. Will load your pix as soon as I'm able. Thanks.

Marcialee, there was no time for a sneak peak, this one went together in a few hours. Hope you like it.

Ah! Cool block for Marcialee, Kass! Can't wait to see her quilt all together.

Janice, sorry you've had internet problems. I missed the mailman today while I was out getting change... but the package will go out in tomorrow' mail. You'll get it by Tues or Wed of next week.

I haven't checked in a couple days. All the blocks are just awesome! I have all of mine finished but I am experimenting with some leftover fabric. If it works out, there will be another bonus block. :)

Kass another super block. Isn't it strange how certain fabrics just stymie you. Had lots of trouble deciding on a block for Jaba's fabric and still haven't any idea on Kass's fabric

I have an idea for Jaba's it is what I first thought of when I saw her fabric. I haven't put pen to paper yet to see if it will work though.

I loved working with Jaba's water fabric!

Has anyone done a round robin quilt with the board? That's where you send in a middle square and various exchangers make the borders around the square. ,2" 4", 6", 8" for example. Each group has 5 people in it. It ends up being a finished medallion quilt top about 60x60. Givio did some last year. I lurked. It looked like fun. I asked her if she was going to do another round and she suggested I do one.

It it takes about 6 months. You have to be committed because if you don't complete your part on time you hold up the next exchanger. It's more tedious than making blocks, especially the last border. But you get a completed quilt that's a little more harmonious than our lovely block quilts are.

Any my experience or thoughts about this?

I lurked on the last RR swap. I thought about joining but was worried about the shipping cost if I had to ship internationally. It looked like fun, and the majority of their quilts turned out great. My other issue was I always QAYG so wasn't sure what I would do w/ quilting a whole top at once.
