Welcome Stafar! You will love this group and as Libster said, "one boom and you'll be hooked!" I love your fabric and baby quilts!! Looking forward to making you a block. <3

Happy Saturday everyone!

Dunes has 19 members. Everyone in Dunes will send me 19 f8s. Each person will make one block for every member other than yourself (18) and then one additional block for a single member so you will make and receive 19 completed blocks back. ***However, those who have offered to make a block for our Boom Pal Jaba will receive an additional F8 so you will be making 20.***

Jaba's 20 F8s arrived yesterday and everyone who offered to make a block for her will receive one. Thank you to all who offered and remember you don't need to send them early, just include them with your other completed blocks when you ship back to me.

If anyone spots an error, please let me know. Thanks!

How exciting that half the fabrics are in already! :p

Stafar, I will love working with that fabric! I think I have the same one in the blues/greens colorway, and a center panel. I love to make things for children.

And I'm hoping to get to play with some of that awesome sea turtle fabric, too!

I've been having a huge fabric sale on FB this weekend. I sell a bit online, and I needed to get rid of the older stuff so I can bring out some new. It's been great but totally exhausting. I was up til 3am last night processing orders. No time for the QB. Looking forward to being able to sew again!

Joan, sorry the fabric sale you went to turned out to be a stinker. Very disappointing, I'm sure.

I have drawn out a few patterns today, and drew out a quilt idea so I won't forget it before I get to try it. One pattern I couldn't wrap my mind around how to work it out by drawing so I cut colored papers and finally figured it out. So I taped those suckers down so I can figure it out again! lol

Kass, I spend hours and hours going thru old blocks, Pinterest, magazines, etc., yet when I find something I like, I think to myself, oh, I’ll remember where I saw it. Nope. Not ever!

Sewbiz, F8s started coming in right away. Am very pleased people are jumping on it but they don’t need to be in my hands until the 18th. There’s time! That’s a really good thing because I’m still deciding. Lol.

At least yours don't have to 'travel'... ;) And I do the same thing... pour over my books and websites looking at blocks. I have handwritten lists from every boom: Blocks I liked and wanted to use. Didn't get to most of them, so they are still on the bucket list.

The 18th will be here in a wink... just over a week away!

So you know that my package was refused on Monday because of the Express/priority envelope. By Wednesday it made it to Phoenix. Today it is back in Atlanta. I just may have to come up with more fabric!!
