Blocks for you. I love the challenge of a pattern for the print of the fabric. Cropping pictures may have cut off points.

Last one for Hav4boys, a basket showing off this pretty floral one. Hugs!

I like this basket to go with the floral print.

My sister and I would dress up in costumes and sit on her front porch handing out candy as all the kids went down the street to the church parking lot for their "Trunk or Treat". We loved commenting on creative costumes and handing out "religious" treats. I made this square really thinking about the happy old days when mom would have candy corn and peanuts on the table all Halloween season! Kinda busy block but it was fun to make.

Great block for Halloween.

finished the baby quilt, Little girl arrived three weeks early. I had to put a rush on it.
The doilies in the quilt were made by our great- grandmother.

Lstew -- that is such a sweet quilt. I love the doilies. What a great way to connect the generations! Welcome baby girl!

What a sweet baby quilt, Lstew. The doilies make it really special. Welcome Baby Girl to the family!

Polkweed I would hate to have you break your promise to yourself. My fabric would work well with just a light colored background, a soft green or beige. Hoping you can find a neutral in your stash or I would be happy to send you one or 2

You don't have to go modern for mine at all. But if you want to give it a go anyway I think Tula Pink's "City Sampler" quilt is a good example of modernist block designs. A lot of traditional elements are used, like HST or log cabins, but the proportions and spacing are changed up.

The problem was I didn't have any soft green or beige! So when my friend asked me to go with her to a local remnants shop, I took it as a sign from the universe and stocked up a bit. I've got a Halloween costume to finish, but then Ill be free to get back on the horse.
