Had a fabulous time in FL, but now back to the real world and sewing! Update:

Rec'd all F8's. Jacquie: since I didn't get my F8 mailed out to you before I went on vacation, I will put it in the envelope with your finished block and mail this week.

Blocks rec'd from: buddy's mom, buslady, jahaper, LovingIzabella, NDQuilts, Veronika, and wandalou. They are all wonderful :) Will post a pic as soon as I get my camera cleaned - got sand in the lens part somehow. LOL

Been working on blocks, and should have them all completed and mailed this week. Yayyyy.

Spent the weekend working on my blocks and mailed the almost last four this morning. I forgot to bring my list with me so I can't say for sure which ones went out. Got Jacquis f8 and that is the only block I have to make and mail, so please let me know if you did not get one. I will also take pictures of the 5 finished blocks I have received so far. Man, that spreadsheet we got with this swap has been a lifesaver, my memory is soooo bad! Well, having fun with all this swapping stuff!! Thanks.

I had such a great time at my BFF Private Quilt Retreat: Best Quilt Retreat ever!!!!!!! 5 days of non-stop, uninterrupted sewing was wonderful, especially with two great friends!!! I completed 10 Fire Boom Blocks for: buddy's mom, buslady, goldendog55, April, and 1 for Izabella, mdmSew'n'Sew, NDquilts, Quiltermomma, Veronika and Yosamitesa. I plan to mail them home today.

I received two very pretty finished blocks from Jacquie and Janelle--I love them; thanks ladies!!

i am guilty ladies, I do not have them all done yet. ended up with hand surgery so pecking at keys right now. i do have some finished and been shopping in my stash for most of them. as soon as i can cut again, will get them done. i will post photos of mailed and received hopefully next week when i can use left hand. glad to see everyone working hard.
