To those of you who have sent Izabella a block I have sent you all PMs to thank you but I also wanted to say again how touched I am by the kindness you all are showing my little one. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to calquilter, Difergie, dotcomdtcm, maggiebb, marytoddliz, tumrub and ljdugas31. These are the people I have recieved blocks from so far. They are all really neat and different. Looking foward to the rest of them and putting it together. I will be making your block the week scrapper, I hope to send it out by the weekend. Hmm, jello molds with juicy oranges. Pass the whipped cream.
Phannie sent this great block and a cookie basket! I have the great fortune to be in a Bee with 11 other quilters. Talent and support and lots of fun. Lemon cookies will be served the next time it's at my house. And they will try to figure out the pattern! |

Hello fellow boomers..........all of your blocks are finished :D and will be posted and in the mail tomorrow. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them. This is my first swap and I've had an absolutely wonderful time receiving all the fabrics, picking out fabrics to complement the F8's and then finding just the right pattern for each. I love the blocks I have recieved so far and I'm so excited to get all the blocks into a quilt and try my hand at FMQ.....another first. It's been so much fun. Thank you.

I am the tortoise here - I try to get a block a day finished. So far I have sent none home. But I am making progress on getting blocks made. About half done. So I keep working on them. I know I will have to make a trip to the post office when the window is open, to mail these all back. So I am going to send them all at once. Heighten the anticipation!!!

Thanks Phannie 1- my board name came from putting the first initials of my dogs together - Sandy - Angel - Pepper and adding doggie to the end. Thanks again for the block. I have not tried to get pictures up yet. Between cataract surgery, a new computer and working full time, I decided to not try something new yet- just a chicken I guess :D |

I have just received a pile of panels, suitable for baby quilts. I am offering them to this group first, since I can't handle a hundred requests. This would make a great project for your quilting group, scouts, etc. They are very beautiful and free. I don't want them to sit in someone's stash. I want them to be used and enjoyed. Let me know if this is a project for you & your group. There are 2 colorways. There is a church in the design so these are " Christian" but you can appl over the church or cut them up. Dotty |
