Just thought I had a good start on my stack no way! These names include rubies also 'cause it seems they want to know what I got from diamonds. Received F8's from scrapper, oldcatlady, and urgodschild. Sent home blocks to: 2-quiltermomma, 2-nexxus831, 2-felicia and moonwork42029. I had little things a crawlin' and bright mod colors running in my head all day. Received alot of potatoes from SheriR today, isn't she sweet, love them more in fabric than real life right now.
Have got to make a baby quilt for a customer this weekend so it may be Monday before I start on my stack again, but I'm sure it will be a waitin' for me. Well, that block looks pretty familiar, birthday girl Nexxus! You have me totally hooked on getting myself some of that black Kona, it was sooo yummy to work with. I got f8's today from Scrapper and urgodschild2, finished grownup blocks for oldcatlady and pinklotus, to be mailed tomorrow. AND received a grownup block from goldendog55 (thank you so much Miss Judy!).
So far the purple blocks are winging their way home really fast. So how come only 1 ladybug block has come home? I suspect you are all hoarding their cute faces in your stash, hoping I will forget them. There was a poem from my farback youth that went " ladybug, ladybug fly away home, your house is on fire and your children are gone.." Hmmm. Were they trying to terrify our young minds? Anyway, I'm onto your plan now, Dazzling Diamonds, so no "stashing" my ladybugs !

Received F8s today from urgodschild2 and scrapper. Will start on them Tuesday evening (4-day holiday weekend coming up - woo hoo!). :)

Nexxus831 - I am so sorry - your f8 is here - all matched up with the fabric I plan to use for your block -- I didn't mark it off on my list. Again, my apologies!

Set out to work on my squares. I finished 4 I thought. when I took the pictures of them I realized that I had put a square in upside down on Themamahauser square. so back to the drawing board on that one. easy fix. I had to stop working on the garlic. The pattern I picked out had something wrong with it. One of the patterns was the wrong size so I had to figure out how to correct it. then i couldn't find the material that I chose to go with it. It's a wholde yard of material so not like something small that you could lose sight of. So I guess the little gremlins came in the night and took it to play with. I'll have to catch them tonight. I am putting pictures of my squares in an album on my profile page and is you are so incline to want to peek a head of time...go for it. although yesterday I couldn't upload anything because they said they were busy. So right now the album is blank.
I did finish Fraew, Nexxus831 and ljdugas.Will mail lthem out tomorrow with Chewboo and Charlottemarie's squares.

Hi Annaquilts - I triple checked my envelopes :). I do not have one from you. TheMamaHauser F8 arrived on the
28th. We'll give this a few days...does the PO still backstamp envelopes that are sent somewhere else first? It will be interesting to see where it's been. I'll keep you posted.

Madam Nexxus, I just finished your block. I went with a "safe" red/white/black theme for bright colors since I didn't want to upset any genders.

I have to say that I had so much fun making yours, I might just use the pattern again during this swap.
