Love, love, love these fabrics!

A large group of less than 36 is fine with me. I always find I have 2-3 blocks left over anyway when I put the quilt together! Cant wait to get started! I had the same problem with 4 of my pieces being only 11x16 but Im hoping it doesnt make a problem for whoever gets them All the rest are 18 x 11. Love the bird fabric! Where did you find it?

Immemother what super fabric that is cool bird fabric TOO wow and to those who have too many critters how bout bird seed? free birdseed! I have 20 lbs can put some in little sandwich bags and enclose it with the chocolate! Fabric birds twirping outside your window and chocolate to smunch on while sewing, what more could you ask for? I am good to go with a large and a small group, pm'd you April in case it got lost here.

After much hair pulling ... and shopping ... I finally decided on these two fabrics. I had 2 yards of the Oyster color already and really wanted to use it in the swap - but with only 2 yards that didn't leave enough left over for me to finish the quilt. I just found the Tea color on sale (woot!) and got the remaining 2.5 yards. So now I can send half of you the Oyster and half the Tea - as I really like the two of them together.

April quick hide the chocolate I think quiltermomma is going to take it all! Jogging right now as I type down the road for that puppy while April slaves over a hot stove (or is it a cold one?) making you chocolate.. um hot chocolate I think now that your signed up.. you know the just add water in fact! I am going to get you a just add water grow our own puppy too.. let me get on that asap. YIPEE the party is starting.. better pull out those spools of thread,never know what colors I am going to need! while jogging, I will clear my work table off and prepare it for the goodies to come. wait I can't jog. while thinking of jogging..surroget joggers left right left please..

Oh yum, I have not had chocolate for two months now and it is starting to take its toll on me. Caramello, Rolos, anything with chocolate and caramel are my favorite. I will accept all donations when you mail your f8ths. This way I can get a treat to work on your block and you may get it faster that way.I am thinking my group needs to be called Snickers because that seems to be the jest of us. I will "Snicker" everytime I open a f8th that has a piece of chocolate in it. yep, send it my way.
Now you said a puppy. I want one so much. I want it to be an apricot toy poodle that wants to sit on my lap and at my feet when I sew and follow me everywhere I go and never leave my side like my little Cuddles did. I am putting in my special order then if you have to "jog" down the street to get it. Otherwise I will put your block to last.

April you gave me enough time to get my house cleaned, still have 1 load in the dryer and have to vacuum the downstairs, gotta' have the room spic and span for quilting, so any time you're ready I'll be waiting for the names.

I haven't determined what fabric I want to use yet. So today at work I told myself, "I am going to use the colors in a quilt that match the clothes the next person in the door has on." WOW, did I luck out. A lady came in with bright colors of a dk teal, purple and lime green. So I need to know what size group I am in so I can get fabric ready. I had signed up for either a small group or a large group. What ever was easiest. So, can't wait to find fabric in these colors.

Okay vacuum done, I lied had 2 loads, going to fold the last 1 and put away....then I'm ready. As I receive the envelopes I put them in a box, adding new in the back, so I work on them as first received. dark teal and purple, get extra and send please, my most favorite colors. Send me lots sustraley, promise I'll send you 2 blocks in return, just make sure I can make 2 for me too!!!! :thumbup:

So, do we get a pm or a direct email with our lists? I'm not in a rush, I just want to make sure I'm checking the appropriate folder.

Deal Jaba!!

um jogged, ok did check out the puppies down the street, they are chiuhua (spell check waiter).. and terrier mix according the the less than savory lot giving them away. The mom is chi so not exactly poodle like. I figured maybe those or pitbulls. Everyone magically never fixs those either around here then can not find homes. How about two candybars Quiltermomma and a.. rain check? two kittens? four candybars and that is the final offer. Or a mutt nobody wants hence why their signs are still out by the curb.

um.. I don't eat chocolate much however LOVE carmel too, could ship carmel without chocolate but will wait til your not on the diet wheel. I will gladly eat it for you as once again a team player here.. And you can finish my block last if you want to as someone has to wear those shoes and I just happen to be barefoot as I type :)

Oh send the mut is all and I will be happy.

Ok...I have this fabric cut and wrapped (thanks Dad for folding, ironing and wrapping :) )...waiting to print out my notes to go with the f8. I ended up with pieces 14 x 18 since my fabric was 42 wide.

In my note I'll be asking to have just the colors in the fabric used (like no pinks or purples added please) preferably solids or tone on tones.

Hope my fabric isn't too buggy :) The ladybugs are about the size of a quarter.

And for that QuilterMomma, you ask why I have to dig potatoes and pick green peppers. Put a quarter in front of them, 1 is enough for 3-4 people. Walk in cooler is on and ready for the winter storage

WOW Did you grow them in your garden?

I picked a fabric today. It's all washed and ready to be cut. I hope all y'all have fun with it. We're taking princess to college tomorrow. I'll get the email while I'm away but I'll be ready to mail out the first of next week. :D This should be FUN. I even have a plan for y'alls blocks!

Oh! I'd sure like one of those potatoes. How about that instead of a puppy or kitty!
