HAH! I am in Diamonds AND Rubies! Of course, I mean I think your absolutely right Marybeth. I need a little bauble to remind me which groups I am in.. excellent idea. I think he will offer fabric instead.. grin.. definetely going to ask now! Let the games begin! I addressed all my Ruby envelopes last night so 9 a.m. they are outta here on Monday morning on their way to the Ruby gang. Diamonds will get yours done today and mail those out also on Monday so keep your eyes open for the mailbox to start filling up soon. To those international: I know it takes time getting to you and vice versa. I will try to do those blocks first up as soon as your fabric arrives so you will get them back within the turn around time absolutely. This is EXCITING!!no time for chatter then.. out of curiosity does it all stay within this posting or will it break off into seperate ones? inquiring minds and all that us darned newbies.
Jaba, hey! now we can trade fabric and your potato yippee Quiltermomma um guess the chocolate and puppies are going to be on their way with the fabric.. gulp... and the rest of you, I am so happy to play with you too! |
I am a Rubie Too. Lokking forward to it. Phannie

Rubies and diamonds for me. The "oops" are allowed you know, these are your babies forever! Now I have to go back through this thread and find all of that d--- chocolate and make note:) See you on the other threads....Bye the way, I was laughing so hard last night about the foodsaver, I had to go to bed. Husband even came in to see what I was reading and said those are some crazy ladies, you guys have way too much fun! He thinks it's terrific.
|
Woop Woop... Rubies for this gal...and actually I have many more ruby rings than anything else... Yippee
|
I have to LOL at the wash and sorting part. My son in law sorts all the clothes in this manner. red, purple, pink : blue, green; white; orange, yellow; browns and blacks. I asked his mum if she sorts that way and she says her son is crazy........ My own daughter swears by this method too. What happened to colors, whites, darks separation. Isn't 3 easier to do then 5???? I do be careful with reds, some blues (dark) and some blacks as they do tend to share their colors with others.

I am so excited to get going that afer looking at my list.......I thought.....oh no what have I gotten myself into. LOL Well it is a good thing that we can only go one day at a time, otherwise I might be overwhelmed. Maybe I need some of that chocolate. I have a bag of M & M's that I keep by the computer. I get the large bag mind you. But it keeps disappearing. I am thinking that I am really devouring those little guys but come to find out that my son and grandson are also pilfering my stash. As far as asking for a puppy or a kitty.......hmmmmmmmm No to the puppy and to the kitty.....I already have 5 here at the house. I just found out that if you have 3 or more animals in your home that you have to buy a kennel license. Shhhhhhh so don't tell anyone how many I have. It's a good thing that 3 are black so people think they are all just one cat.
|
ok, i'm a 'ruby'
i will hold on writing my envelopes until i hear of any amendments to any addresses... april, you've done an amazing job!!! looking after all of us ladies... dont worry! xxx |

If you didn't make a few errors, we might think you were a computer. Or a robot. Listen, I have watched Battlestar Galactica. I know how to recognize a Cylon. Don't be a Cylon, April. They're scary.

|
April - you are doing WONDERFUL with these swaps ! You are the reason so many come back time after time- so nope you aren't getting out of it the easy LOL

APRIL NOOOO your HUMANE??? Sheesh, here I was invisioning a Stepford Wife. I had one corrected envelope sorry Travelin' granny I just arrowed and added Valley to yours. It will get there fine :) so really no big thing at all. I had another one of themany dumb questions I seem to find in my pockets: ironing, did you iron your stuff before stuffing it or from the sounds of it cramming it in an envelope? I was wondering how do we get our fabric not looking like you pulled it out of your.. pockets grin? wet it its warped, starch it someone is allergic to it.. inquiring minds and all that.
oh, btw was it April in this thread that was looking for the veil fabric? I am swishing it inside my head and have it between April and Krystyna on another thread argh.. my mind is a frustrating mystery. I even have to ask while the question is fresh or phhefttt its gone with the wind..which rarely bothers me til I remember that I meant to do something.. please someone nudge this memory a bit on this. gracias all you silent ones, all this banter and now.. like the DAY AFTER.. dun dun dunnnn I have written all 50 notes YES by hand (didnt say you could read them) and addressed 40 envelopes, stuffed 40 so I am almost done. Thenwhile I wait impatiently, I will start making my own block contribution to my sets for the heck of it. This way I wont be influenced by what everyone in my group makes after the fact.. should be fun. Besides, i suck at waiting. (real reason). oh to the one keeping all the rubies.. here is the deal you send your pals in the group a ruby and we will inturn send you chocolate and no pets. LMAO to the three cats who are all black.. once lived in an apartment that required pet rent. $50 a month per pet plus $500 each pet non refundable deposit. GULP so I paid for two but had four (lying brat) and when you described your cat on the rental form I put " multicolored" figuring that covered it which it did. 1400 unit complex maintenance and office never checked notes. so yes in theory you probably only have one cat. I buy that. |
April--you do a great job!!!

Very pretty Daisey! Now I finally feel comfortable with my fabric choice. Thanks for posting. :)

Thank you marytoddliz

Looks great!!
|
That looks very pretty. I love the green with pink.
|
Daisey that is beautiful!

I remember that boom 6 fabric, but not your boom 7, must not have been in the same one. Nice finish on the one and it will be very pretty on the other when you are done. Isn't it nice to be able to finish your own quilts.
